SAP completed the investigation of the Head of Customs image

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office have completed investigating the case of the suspicion of the Acting Head of the State Customs Service, Serhiy Zvyagintsev, in false declarations.

This was reported by the press service of the SAPO, without mentioning the name of the suspect.

According to media reports, this is about Zvyagintsev.

The SAPO prosecutor has decided to complete the pre-trial investigation in the case of the Acting Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, suspected of intentionally introducing, by the subject of declaration, knowingly false information into the declarations of a person authorized to perform state or local government functions, as provided for by the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption". Currently, NABU detectives, on the instructions of the SAPO prosecutor, have opened the case materials to the defense for review

As is known, the anti-corruption court set a bail of UAH 60,560 for the head of the State Customs Service. Zvyagintsev was also given the following obligations: to appear upon every request; to report any change in his place of residence and place of work; to refrain from communicating with a number of persons and to hand over his international passports for safekeeping.

As a reminder, NABU and SAPO reported the suspicion of the acting head of the State Customs Service, Serhiy Zvyagintsev. According to the investigation, in 2021–2023, the suspect did not reflect in the declaration information about a residential building near Kyiv with an area of ​​236.8 square meters and the land plot on which it is located.

The investigation established that the official registered real estate worth over $100,000 in the name of his wife's father, although in reality the actual owner is he and his family.
