Court cancels bracelet rule for Logistics Forces official image

The High Anti-Corruption Court removed the electronic bracelet, but extended until May 19 the remaining duties assigned to Volodymyr Vysotsky, Deputy Head of the Aviation and Technical Support Department of the Central Aviation Support and Air Defense Armaments Department of the Logistics Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, the court set a bail of UAH 2 million for Deputy Head of the Logistics Forces Department Vysotsky. He was also given the following obligations: to appear upon first demand; not to leave the Kyiv region without permission; to report any change in his place of residence and work; to refrain from communicating with another suspect in this case and witnesses; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.

The SAPO prosecutor requested that these obligations be extended for another two months. At the same time, Vysotsky's defense requested that the wearing of the bracelet not be extended due to proper procedural conduct, as well as allegedly due to "inconvenience and pain." The judge canceled the obligation to wear the bracelet, but extended the remaining obligations.

The motion of the SAPO prosecutor to extend the term of the duties imposed on the suspect in criminal proceedings is partially granted. To extend the term of the duties imposed on the suspect, as provided for in Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code, until May 19, 2025 inclusive, but not longer than the term of the pre-trial investigation.
