The Higher Anti-Corruption Court (HASC) decided to reduce the amount of bail for Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy Taras Vysotskyi. The initial amount of the pledge, which was almost UAH 5 million, was reduced to UAH 3.02 million. September 5. The official is suspected of involvement in abuses in the amount of UAH 62.5 million.

Earlier, the court set bail for Vysotskyi in the amount of UAH 4.99 million with relevant conditions. He is obliged to arrive at the first request of the court, not to leave the territory of Ukraine without permission, to inform about a change of place of residence or work, to refrain from communication with certain persons and to surrender foreign passports.

The court partially granted the request of Vysotskyi's defense attorney to change the preventive measure. The bail was reduced to UAH 3.028 million, which corresponds to 1,000 subsistence minimums for able-bodied persons. At the same time, UAH 1.97 million of the pledge will be returned to the mortgagors in proportion to the deposited funds.

At this time, the details of the decision remain unknown, as only a short part of the decision has been made public.

In March-April 2022, Vysotskyi agreed to pay regional military administrations for the purchase of pasta from two companies - LLC "Olympus" and LLC "WinsideLight". The investigation believes that the value of the goods was overestimated, due to which the losses amounted to UAH 63 million.

The first episode deals with the purchase of products for the population of eight oblasts and Kyiv at the expense of Ukrzaliznytsia through an intermediary, where the prices were 2-3 times higher than market prices. UZ's losses are estimated at UAH 28.8 million. The scheme was organized by Vysotsky.

The second episode concerns purchases from Turkey, where prices were also inflated with the help of controlled firms. Oleksandr Hryban, ex-deputy Minister of Economy, participated in the scheme, and he was given bail of UAH 939,400. Losses of "UZ" — UAH 33.7 million.
