Kyiv DSA official caught taking bribes

Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation detained the head of the department of the Desnyansky District State Administration of Kyiv on suspicion of systematically extorting money from local entrepreneurs.

According to media reports, this is Vasyl Binkovsky, head of the department for entrepreneurship, trade and consumer market of the Desnyanska DSA.

It was established that the official systematically received money for placing retail outlets in the Desnyanskyi district of the capital without obtaining the proper permits, the prosecutor's office noted.

In particular, for the smooth operation of one retail outlet, you need to pay $500 per month, however, if there are many such outlets, a $100 discount is possible.

The investigation documented the repeated receipt by the suspects of illegal benefits totaling over 115 thousand hryvnias from the representative of the entrepreneur.

A man was caught red-handed while receiving money for illegal operation of retail outlets.

The court chose a preventive measure for the official in the form of detention with the possibility of posting bail.

As a reminder, NABU and SAPO announced a new suspicion against the former deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine , which concerns receiving a large bribe.
