HACC Seizes Myshanskyi’s Cash

The High Anti-Corruption Court has seized 250,000 hryvnias seized during the detention of the commander of the National Guard military unit, Vasyl Myshansky, whom the NABU and SAPO suspect of involvement in the case of People's Deputy Kuznetsov.

On August 2, detectives from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau detained Myshansky. During this, a black purse and funds totaling UAH 250,000 were found and seized from him. According to the detective, the funds are an illegal gain for ensuring the supply of electronic warfare systems to the military unit for a total of UAH 5,000,000.

The motion of the NABU detective, approved by the SAPO prosecutor, to seize property in criminal proceedings shall be granted. To seize (with a prohibition on alienation, disposal and use) in order to ensure the preservation of material evidence on the property seized during the inspection of the scene at the place of detention (Myshansky), namely: a black handbag with the inscription Nike; funds in the total amount of 250,000 hryvnias, banknotes in denominations of 500 hryvnias

In addition, we reported that the High Anti-Corruption Court seized the property of MP Oleksiy Kuznetsov, whom the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office suspect of receiving illegal benefits.

In early August, NABU detectives searched People's Deputy Kuznetsov's Acura MDX car, as well as the apartment he uses. An iPhone 16 Pro mobile phone was seized from the car; cash in the amount of UAH 900,000, UAH 170,000, UAH 9,380, and UAH 6,900, etc. The following was found in the apartment: an iPhone SE phone, an iPad mini 2021 tablet, and draft notes. The specified property was requested to be seized.
