HACC Releases Krupa on Bail

The High Anti-Corruption Court released from custody the former head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC, deputy of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council, Tetyana Krupa, and applied a preventive measure to her in the form of a bail of UAH 20 million with obligations.
The press service of the HACC reports this, but does not mention the name of the person involved.
According to Slovo i Dilo, this is Krupa, who held the aforementioned position and was suspected of illicit enrichment. She was recently remanded in custody with the option of posting a 56 million UAH bail.
On September 4, the investigating judge of the HACC partially satisfied the request of the NABU detective, approved by the prosecutor of the HACC, to extend the preventive measure for the former head of the Khmelnytskyi region's MSEK. Thus, the investigating judge changed the preventive measure in the form of detention to a bail of UAH 20,000,000. The HACC draws attention to the fact that in accordance with Part 3 of Article 197 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the total period of detention of a suspect during a pre-trial investigation should not exceed 12 months - in criminal proceedings for grave or especially grave crimes. Currently, the suspect has been detained in criminal proceedings for 11 months
Krupa was given the following obligations: not to leave the borders of Khmelnytskyi; to refrain from communicating with employees of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise, including former employees, and persons who applied for a medical and social examination at the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise; to report a change in their place of residence; to hand over their international passports and to wear an electronic means of control.
Tetyana Krupa and her son Oleksandr are suspects in the EBK base.
As a reminder, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Prosecutor General's Office exposed Krupa in illegal enrichment. During the searches, $6 million in cash, jewelry, and branded items were found in her possession. The head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC tried to get rid of some of the money by throwing two bags with half a million dollars out the window.
