HACC Extends Olenych’s Duties

The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of former Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Petro Olenych until October 13. NABU and SAPO suspect him of involvement in the land case of businessman Denys Komarnytsky.
As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court arrested Olenych with the alternative of 15 million UAH bail. These funds were deposited and he was released from custody . The suspect was given the following obligations: to appear at every call; not to leave Kyiv and Kyiv region without permission; to report any change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to hand over his foreign passports and to refrain from communicating with a number of persons.
The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested that these obligations be extended for another two months. The judge partially supported the request and allowed Olenich to move freely around Ukraine.
The motion is partially granted. To extend for two months the term of the duties imposed on the suspect (Olenych), on the basis of Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. To determine the term of the duties imposed by the court on the suspect until October 13, 2025, within the term of the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings
