HACC schedules trial in MP Zadorozhnyi bribery case

The High Anti-Corruption Court has assigned to consider the merits of the criminal proceedings on the charges of bribery against People's Deputy Mykola Zadorozhny, former temporary acting deputy head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police Oleh Tkachenko, and his subordinate Vyacheslav Miroshnyk.
To schedule a trial of the criminal proceedings on charges of (Zadorozhny) in committing crimes under Part 4 of Article 368, Part 3 of Article 27, Part 2 of Article 15, Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, (Tkachenko and Miroshnyk) in committing a crime under Part 5 of Article 27, Part 2 of Article 15, Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, at 12:00 on February 23, 2026, to be held in the courtroom of the Higher Criminal Court of Ukraine. To conduct a trial of the criminal proceedings in an open court session by a panel of three judges, the composition of which will be determined in accordance with Article 35 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine

Earlier, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office sent an indictment to the court against the People's Deputy, former acting deputy head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police, and his subordinate for extorting a bribe. According to media reports, this concerns People's Deputy Mykola Zadorozhny, as well as two former police officers, Oleg Tkachenko and Vyacheslav Miroshnyk.
