SAPO sent to court case against MP Zadorozhnyi
The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has sent an indictment to the court against a People's Deputy, former acting deputy head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police, and his subordinate for extorting a bribe.
This was reported by the press service of the SAPO. According to media reports, this concerns People's Deputy Mykola Zadorozhny, as well as two former police officers Oleg Tkachenko and Vyacheslav Miroshnyk. In August, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court limited the defense to familiarize themselves with the investigation until November 3 inclusive.
On November 5, 2025, the SAPO, based on the materials of the NABU, sent to the court an indictment against a People's Deputy of Ukraine, who, with the assistance of the former acting deputy head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine and his subordinate, demanded an illegal benefit for not obstructing the repair work of infrastructure facilities in the Sumy region. We previously reported that NABU and SAPO have completed investigating the case of MP Mykola Zadorozhnyi= for organizing his receipt of illegal benefits, in which the former deputy head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police, Oleg Tkachenko, and the senior operational officer of the same department, Vyacheslav Miroshnyk, are also suspected.
