HACC Sets Hearing for Lawyer’s Bribery Case image

The higher anti-corruption court scheduled a hearing on November 19 in the case of the accusation of lawyer Oleksiy Nosov in offering a bribe to NABU and SAP in the case of businessman Mykhailo Kiperman.

Such a decision was made by HACC.

To appoint a preliminary court hearing in the criminal proceedings on the charge (Olexia Nosova - editor) of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 3 of Art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, at 10:00 a.m. on November 19, 2024, in the premises of the High Anti-Corruption Court

As you know, the anti-corruption court arrested Nosov's lawyer with an alternative bail of UAH 12 million. Later, his bail was reduced to UAH 1.21 million. These funds were deposited and Nosov was released from custody. The following duties were assigned to him: to arrive at the first request; not to leave Kyiv region, including Kyiv, without permission; to report a change of residence and/or place of work; refrain from communicating with the applicant in criminal proceedings; deposit foreign passports and wear an electronic bracelet.

We will remind you that NABU and SAP informed about the exposure of the capital's lawyer in an attempt to bribe the detective of NABU and the prosecutor of SAP. According to "Word and Deed" information, it was about Oleksiy Nosov. According to the investigation, the lawyer offered these funds to the prosecutors of the SAP and NABU detectives for a decision on the transfer of criminal proceedings against his client in the case of the acquisition of electric energy of PJSC NEC Ukrenergo and the legalization of the funds received from its sale in the amount of UAH 716 million to another body pre-trial investigation.

Earlier, it also became known that the State Supreme Administrative Court had removed some of the duties of two judges of the Kyiv court.
