HACC extends arrest of ex-KCSA deputy Spasybko image

The High Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of former Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Spasybko until June 7 in the land case of businessman Denys Komarnytsky.

The Anti-Corruption Court arrested Spasybko with the alternative of a 20 million UAH bail. The detective of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau requested to extend the arrest for another two months and leave the bail unchanged.

The request of the senior detective of the NABU to extend the term of detention is granted. To extend the term of the preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect until June 7, 2026 inclusive. To set bail for the suspect in the amount of UAH 20,000,000

– the decision states.

In the event of a deposit of funds, Spasybko will be subject to the following obligations: to arrive upon first demand; not to leave Kyiv, Kyiv region, Chernivtsi and travel between them without permission; to report a change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to wear an electronic bracelet; to hand over his foreign passports for safekeeping; to refrain from communicating with other suspects in these criminal proceedings and witnesses.

The court also extended the arrest of another suspect in the case, Roman Blyumin, until June 6. An alternative bail of UAH 8 million was set for him.

We also previously reported that the HACC extended the detention of former Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko until June 14 in the case of Timur Mindich's criminal organization and money laundering. His bail of UAH 200 million was left unchanged.
