HACC Extends Krupa's Arrest, Lowers Bail to ₴230 Million image

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of the head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC, deputy of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council, Tetyana Krupa, who is suspected of illicit enrichment, until May 18.

At the same time, the alternative in the form of collateral was reduced from UAH 260 million to UAH 230 million.

The High Court of Justice of the Ukraine made this decision on March 20, the court's press service reports, but does not mention the suspect's name. According to Slovo i Dilo, this is Krupa. As is known, the anti-corruption court extended Krupa's arrest for two months, but reduced the bail from UAH 280 million to UAH 260 million. The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested that the suspect's detention be extended again and the bail be left unchanged.

On March 20, the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court partially satisfied the request of the SAPO prosecutor and extended the preventive measure of detention for the former head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission for a period of 60 days (until May 18, 2025 inclusive). As an alternative, bail in the amount of UAH 230 million was set for the suspect.

We will remind, earlier the High Anti-Corruption Court arrested part of the property of the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional MSEC, Tetyana Krupa, who is suspected of illegal enrichment and issuing fictitious disability certificates.
