HACC Extends Bondar’s Duties

The High Anti-Corruption Court extended the term of the duties assigned to People's Deputy Viktor Bondar until November 24. NABU and SAPO suspect him of co-organizing the embezzlement of funds from JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia". As is known, the Anti-Corruption Court extended the arrest of People's Deputy Bondar, but reduced his alternative in the form of bail from 60.6 to 36.33 million UAH. This money was paid and the People's Deputy was released from custody.
Because of this, Bondar is obliged: not to leave the Kyiv and Khmelnytsky regions with the possibility of traveling through Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions without permission; to appear upon every request; to report a change in his place of residence and/or work; to refrain from communicating regarding the circumstances that are being investigated in these criminal proceedings; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.
The prosecutor's motion to extend the term of the duties imposed on the suspect shall be granted. To extend the term of the duties imposed on the suspect (Bondar - ed.) under Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code for two months until November 24, 2025 inclusive.
