The High Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of MP Viktor Bondar until July 31, but reduced his alternative bail from UAH 69.64 to UAH 60.56 million. NABU and SAPO suspect him of co-organizing the embezzlement of funds from JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.
As is known, the anti-corruption court extended Bondar's arrest for two months, but reduced his bail from UAH 100 to UAH 75.7 million. Later, at the request of the people's deputy's lawyer, the court reduced the bail to UAH 69.64 million . Therefore, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested to extend the arrest for another two months with this amount of bail.
Partially grant the motion. Extend the term of detention of the suspect (Bondarya – ed.) until July 31, 2025 inclusive. Set the suspect an alternative preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of 20,000 subsistence minimums for able-bodied persons, which is the monetary equivalent of UAH 60,560,000.

As a reminder, NABU and SAPO reported suspicions against People's Deputy Bondar. According to the investigation, the suspect People's Deputy Bondar and businessman Volodymyr Kotlyar developed a scheme that involved supplying UZ products at inflated prices. To do this, they entered into a conspiracy with members of an organized group that was a kind of "back office" of the company, informally controlled its activities and, for a certain percentage of the procurement amount, could ensure the victory of the "right" companies in UZ tenders.
