HACC Extended Obligations for “Forests of Ukraine” CEO

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court extended until January 6, 2026 the term of office of the Director General of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" Yuriy Bolokhovets within the framework of the case of illegal enrichment.
As is known, the anti-corruption court extended Bolokhovets' arrest, but reduced his bail to UAH 9.08 million. These funds were paid and he was released from the pre-trial detention center. The suspect was given the following obligations: to appear at the first request; not to leave Kyiv, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions without permission; to report any change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to hand over his foreign passports for safekeeping.
The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office asked the court to extend these obligations for another two months.
The motion is granted. The term of the duties assigned to the suspect (Bolokhovets – ed.) is extended for two months, i.e. until January 6, 2026 inclusive, but within the term of the pre-trial investigation.
Yuriy Bolokhovets is a suspect in the EBK database.
As a reminder, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Prosecutor General's Office reported suspicions to Yuriy Bolokhovets, the General Director of the State Forestry Agency of Ukraine. According to the investigation, in 2021, at that time, the head of the State Forestry Agency, Bolokhovets, acquired assets worth more than UAH 10.4 million, which significantly exceeds his legal income. The difference is more than UAH 7.9 million. Among such assets: an apartment in Kyiv worth more than UAH 9 million, registered to a controlled entity, and eight land plots with a total area of 24 hectares.
We also reported that the AC of the HACC will consider the complaint of a customs officer from the Lviv region.
