HACC to Review Asset Confiscation Case Against Kyiv Police Official image

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a hearing on February 14 to consider a lawsuit for the confiscation of the real estate of Taras Polienko, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Kyiv.

As is known, the SAPO filed a lawsuit for civil confiscation of the assets of Polienko , his mother-in-law and father-in-law, namely: apartments in the Zarichny residential complex with a total area of ​​220.5 sq. m and two parking spaces with an area of ​​13.8 sq. m each with a total value of 3.67 million UAH, as well as income from their sale for almost 5 million UAH.

The prosecutor also requested to satisfy the application for securing the claim by imposing an arrest on this real estate, as well as on other assets of the defendants corresponding to their value. It was a land plot with an area of ​​0.12 hectares in the Brovarsky district of the Kyiv region and a residential building with a total area of ​​134.5 sq. m. The arrest of the property was imposed and preparations for considering the claim on the merits began.

To close the preparatory proceedings and schedule the case for trial on the merits in an open court session at the premises of the High Anti-Corruption Court on February 14, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.
