HACC Denies Merging Mykytas Cases

The High Anti-Corruption Court refused to merge the criminal proceedings against former MP Maksym Mykytas, his former assistant Serhiy Yakusevych and others in the embezzlement of Defense Ministry funds with the case of apartments for the National Guard, where they are also defendants.

To refuse to merge the criminal proceedings entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations on December 11, 2017 under No. 42017000000004969 with the materials of the criminal proceedings entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations on September 25, 2019 under No. 52019000000000842

The judges also refused to return the indictment against Mykytas and Yakusevych in the Ministry of Defense case to the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
