HACC Deems MP Marchenko’s UAH 8.2M Assets Unjustified image

The High Anti-Corruption Court has declared the assets of current MP Lyudmila Marchenko worth over UAH 8.2 million unfounded . This concerns property acquired in 2021-2023.

This was reported by the press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.

The case involves five apartments, property rights to another apartment, and a Toyota Land Cruiser. According to law enforcement, the ownership of this property was registered in the name of the deputy's father and her brother's cohabitant. At the same time, the prosecutor stated that it was Marchenko who actually owned and used the assets.

An analysis of the property status of the People's Deputy of Ukraine, her family members and relatives established the impossibility of acquiring these objects at the expense of legal income. After hearing the arguments of the parties, the court agreed with the position of the SAPO prosecutor and satisfied the claim in full.

The SAPO added that the court decision can be appealed within 30 days.

Lyudmila Marchenko is a figurehead of the EBK base.
