HACC arrested figure in businessman Mindich’s case
The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court has taken into custody the Executive Director for Physical Protection and Security of JSC NNEGC Energoatom, Dmytro Basov. NABU and SAPO suspect him of involvement in the criminal organization of businessman Timur Mindich.

In the NABU and SAPO investigation, Basov appears under the codename "Tenor." According to the investigation, he allegedly managed the shadow process of procurement and payments in a criminal organization that, according to the investigation, was headed by businessman Timur Mindich.
It should be noted that a court hearing is also underway today regarding the appointment of a preventive measure for another person involved in the corruption scheme in the energy sector, Ihor Myronyuk.
As a reminder, on the morning of November 10, NABU and SAPO began searches of President Zelensky's former business partner and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, Timur Mindich, as well as Justice Minister Herman Galushchenko, who previously headed the Ministry of Energy.
Subsequently, the anti-corruption authorities reported on a large-scale operation in the energy sector. They said that the criminal organization had built a scheme to systematically obtain illegal benefits from counterparties of JSC NNEGC Energoatom in the amount of 10% to 15% of the value of contracts. The scheme involved, in particular, the former deputy head of the State Property Fund, who later became an advisor to the Minister of Energy, as well as a former law enforcement officer.
