As a reminder, the High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed a preventive measure on former Minister of Infrastructure Andriy Pyvovarsky. According to the investigation, in July 2015, Pyvovarsky, together with First Deputy Volodymyr Shulmeister, secured the adoption of an order that allowed private companies to collect 50% of the ship dues rate from vessels in the port of Pivdenny.

At the same time, according to the law, the collection of such a fee is the exclusive prerogative of the Sea Ports Administration of Ukraine. During 2017-2021 alone, the state budget lost more than $40 million due to these actions.

We also reported that the former mayor of Irpin was declared suspicious.
