The High Anti-Corruption Court did not cancel the notice of suspicion handed to Anton Grekov, the head of one of the departments of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office. He is suspected of bribery.

The complaint (Grekov – ed.) regarding the notification of suspicion in criminal proceedings is to be rejected. The decision may be appealed to the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court within five days from the date of its announcement.

As is known, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv arrested Grekov with the alternative of 3 million UAH bail. These funds were deposited and he was given the following obligations: not to leave Cherkasy without permission; to report a change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to refrain from communicating with the suspect, as well as other witnesses and victims in the proceedings; to hand over his foreign passports for safekeeping.

Recently, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office completed investigating the case on suspicion of Anton Grekov, a prosecutor of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office, and his accomplice Valeriy Grechukha, in receiving $41,000 in illegal benefits.
