The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court found former First Deputy General Director of the Kharkiv State Aviation Production Enterprise Igor Suntsov guilty of embezzling over UAH 36 million . He was sentenced in absentia to 9 years in prison.

Suntsov Igor Pavlovich to be found guilty of committing a criminal offense under Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and to be sentenced to 9 years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold positions in enterprises, organizations and institutions of all forms of ownership related to the performance of administrative, economic and organizational and managerial functions for a period of 3 years with confiscation of all property belonging to him by right of ownership

– the decision states.

The court also partially satisfied the civil lawsuit and recovered property damage in the amount of UAH 34.9 million in favor of the KhSAVP.
