HACC extends probe in MP Skorokhod case

The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended until June 5 the investigation into the case of People's Deputy Anna Skorokhod and other suspects in extortion of illegal benefits.
The investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court partially satisfied the request of the NABU detective and extended the pre-trial investigation in the case of the suspicion of the People's Deputy of Ukraine and other suspects until June 5, 2026. The decision is not subject to appeal and enters into force from the moment of its proclamation.
Anna Skorokhod is a figurehead of the EBK base.
Recall, on December 5, 2025, the Security Service of Ukraine, NABU and SAPO exposed an organized criminal group in Kyiv, led by Anna Skorokhod. She is suspected of receiving illegal benefits from an entrepreneur. It was documented how the parliamentarian, together with her accomplices, extorted $250,000 from the entrepreneur. The Supreme Court of Criminal Appeals assigned Anna Skorokhod a preventive measure in the form of a bail of 3 million 28 thousand hryvnias, which was paid for her.
Later it became known that the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court changed the preventive measure for People's Deputy Anna Skorokhod, who is suspected of receiving illegal benefits. She was set a bail of 4 million hryvnias. It is known that Skorokhod previously wore an electronic bracelet. The suspected People's Deputy, commenting on her case, stated that she "never demanded money or gave bribes."
