UAH 10M Bail Posted for Serhiy Haidai

A UAH 10 million bail was posted for Serhiy Gaidai, the former head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration and former head of the Mukachevo District State Administration, as an alternative to detention.

This was reported by Ukrainian media with reference to the press service of the High Anti-Corruption Court.

A bail of UAH 10 million has been posted for the suspect, the former head of the Mukachevo Regional State Administration. Bail has also been posted for the commander of a military unit of the National Guard of Ukraine and the director of a private company.

This concerns the head of Akopters LLC, Yevhenia Sidelnikova, and the commander of the NGU military unit, Vasyl Myshansky.

On Saturday, August 2, NABU and SAPO conducted a series of measures to expose those involved in committing a corruption crime. In particular, a current People's Deputy of Ukraine, heads of district and city military administrations, as well as servicemen of the National Guard were detained for taking a bribe.

Later, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed the officials involved in the scheme: Serhiy Haiday from the position of head of the Mukachevo District State Administration of the Zakarpattia Oblast and Andriy Yurchenko from the position of head of the Rubizhna City Military Administration of the Luhansk Oblast.

And later it became known that NABU and SAPO had announced suspicions against six individuals in a case of corruption in the procurement of drones and electronic warfare equipment.
