Kyiv officials in land corruption case released on bail

Bail was posted for Kyiv City Council deputy, head of the land commission Mykhailo Terentyev, and officials of Kyiv municipal enterprises in a land corruption case.
A bail of 20 million hryvnias was transferred for Mykhailo Terentyev, 4.5 million hryvnias for the first deputy director of the municipal enterprise "Spetszhitlofond" Yuriy Leonov, and 7 million hryvnias for the deputy director of the KP "Kyivblagoustriy" Oleksiy Mushtu.
VAKS spokeswoman Olesya Chemerys confirmed that bail has been posted. After their release, they must wear an electronic bracelet.
We will remind, on February 6, 2025, it became known that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau was conducting investigative actions against businessman Denys Komarnytskyi.
Later, the NABU press service reported that the Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office "are conducting a large-scale operation "Clean City" to expose a criminal organization involved in land corruption in the Kyiv City Council."
As part of the investigation, 7 members of the criminal organization were detained, and a total of 10 people were suspected.
The list of suspects includes, in particular, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Petro Olenych , businessman Denys Komarnytskyi , and Head of the Kyiv City Council Standing Committee on Architecture, Urban Planning and Land Relations Mykhailo Terentyev.
As part of this case, the HACC remanded Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Petro Olenych, in custody for two months and set him bail in the amount of UAH 15 million.
