Officer in Kyiv region charged with $10K bribe for rear post image

In the Kyiv region, an officer of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was reported under suspicion. He allegedly promised to place a conscript in a rear unit, and then remove him from the register.

This was reported by the Military Law Enforcement Service.

It is noted that a serviceman of the Bila Tserkva zonal department of the MLE offered to arrange for a resident of the Kyiv region to serve in the rear for $10,000, where he would later be removed from military service due to his health.

The officer was detained and charged with bribery. Authorized searches were conducted in his office, home, and car. The article carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
