HACC Appeals Upholds Haiduk’s Sentence

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court confirmed the verdict sentencing former Deputy Head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration Ihor Haiduk to 8 years and 2 months.
This was reported by the press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
As is known, the anti-corruption court found former deputy head of the Ternopil Oblast Administrative District Ihor Haiduk guilty of requesting UAH 1.8 million in illegal benefits. He was sentenced to 8 years and 2 months in prison with a 3-year ban on holding certain positions and confiscation of his Toyota Avensis. His defense attorney filed an appeal.
On July 11, 2025, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court supported the position of the SAPO prosecutor, refused to satisfy the appeals of the defense and left unchanged the verdict of the High Anti-Corruption Court of March 6, 2025, by which the Deputy Head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration I. Haiduk was sentenced to actual imprisonment. Thus, the former officer was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In compliance with the court's decision, the person was taken into custody in the courtroom.
Igor Haiduk is a figure in the EBK database.
The investigation established that in June 2023, the deputy head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, together with another deputy, asked the entrepreneur for UAH 1.8 million for payment of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration's debt to the company for work performed and accepted in 2022, as well as for assistance in concluding new and financing existing contracts with this company.
As for the other deputy, the materials regarding him have been separated into a separate proceeding, but the consideration has been suspended due to his mobilization.
