HACC Extends Krupa’s Detention, Reduces Bail image

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of the former head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC, deputy of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council, Tetyana Krupa, until September 7, but reduced the alternative bail from UAH 112 to UAH 56 million.

The HACC made this decision on July 10, the court's press service reports, but does not mention the suspect's name.

According to media reports, this is Krupa, whose arrest was last extended with the alternative of 112 million UAH bail .

On July 10, the investigating judge of the HACC partially satisfied the request of the NABU detective and extended the preventive measure of detention of the former head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEK until September 7, 2025 inclusive. The suspect was set bail in the amount of UAH 56,018,000.

In the event of bail, the suspect is subject to the following obligations: to appear when summoned; not to leave the borders of Khmelnytskyi without permission; to refrain from communicating with a number of people; to report a change of residence; and to hand over foreign passports for safekeeping.

Tetyana Krupa and her son Oleksandr are suspects in the EBK base.

As a reminder, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Prosecutor General's Office exposed Krupa in illegal enrichment. During the searches, $6 million in cash, jewelry, and branded items were found in her possession. The head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC tried to get rid of some of the money by throwing two bags with half a million dollars out the window.
