HACC Appeals to Review Shevchenko and Rudnev Appeal

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court will consider an appeal against the verdict sentencing the former deputy head of the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Sumy region, Roman Shevchenko, to 7 years in prison and lawyer Yevhen Rudnev to 6 years.
As is known, the anti-corruption court found former Sumy Region Police Chief Shevchenko and lawyer Rudnev guilty. They were sentenced to 7 and 6 years in prison, respectively. The defendants and their defense attorneys filed appeals.
To open appeal proceedings on the appeals of the accused (Rudnev), the accused's defense attorneys, and the accused's defense attorney (Shevchenko) against the verdict of the High Anti-Corruption Court of June 11, 2025. To set a deadline for the participants in the court proceedings to file objections to the appeals by August 4, 2025
