HACC Appeals Chamber upholds Shurma’s arrest
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has left the former Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Rostyslav Shurma under arrest in absentia in the case of embezzlement of UAH 141 million on the "green" tariff.
This was reported by the press service of the AC HACC, but did not mention the name of the suspect.
According to media reports, it is about Shurma. As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court arrested Shurma in absentia.
On May 13, 2026, the AC of the HACC considered the appeals of the defense against the decision of the investigating judge of the HACC dated April 21, 2026 on the appointment of the former deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine as a preventive measure in the form of detention. Based on the results of the consideration, the panel of judges of the AC dismissed the appeals of the defense, and left the decision of the investigating judge of the HACC unchanged.
