Appeal upholds 5.5-year sentence for ex-DACK judge Vlasenkova
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has upheld the verdict sentencing former judge of the liquidated District Administrative Court of Kyiv, Olena Vlasenkova, to 5.5 years in prison for receiving illegal benefits. She was taken into custody in the courtroom.
This was reported by the press service of the AC HACC, but did not indicate the name of the accused.
According to media reports, it is Vlasenkova. As is known, the anti-corruption court found former judge Vlasenkova guilty of receiving illegal benefits. She was sentenced to 5.5 years in prison with a ban on holding positions in state authorities for 3 years and confiscation of all property. The accused and her defense lawyers filed appeals.
On April 28, 2026, the AC of the HACC upheld the verdict of the Supreme Court of Justice of June 11, 2025, by which the former judge of the Supreme Court of Justice was found guilty of receiving an unlawful benefit for making procedural decisions in the case (Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The court of first instance sentenced the specified person to 5 years and 6 months of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions for a period of 3 years and confiscation of all property belonging to her. Based on the results of the consideration, the panel of judges of the AC HACC dismissed the appeals of the accused and her defense lawyers. The accused was taken into custody in the courtroom
Later, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office confirmed that it was former judge Vlasenkov.
Olena Vlasenkova is a figurehead of the EBK base.
