Appeals Court to hear Odesa judge’s sentence challenge

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a hearing on May 28 on appeals against the verdict sentencing Lyudmila Saltan, a judge of the Kyiv District Court of Odessa, to 6 years in prison for receiving $4,000 in illegal gain.
As is known, the HACC found Lyudmila Saltan, a judge of the Kyiv District Court of Odessa, guilty and sentenced her to 6 years in prison. The accused and her defense attorney filed appeals against this verdict.
To complete the preparation for the consideration of appeals against the verdict of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated 06.03.2026 in criminal proceedings on the accusation (Saltan) of committing a criminal offense under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The consideration of appeals is scheduled for May 28, 2026 at 10:00 in the premises of the AC of the High Anti-Corruption Court
