Appeal to review police officer Nerukh’s asset case

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court will consider an appeal against the decision to confiscate a Volkswagen Touareg car and an apartment in Kyiv belonging to Yuriy Nerukh, head of the weapons control department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of the capital.
This decision was made by the Administrative Board of the Supreme Court of Ukraine on April 10, reports Slovo i Dilo.
As is known, the anti-corruption court found the assets of the head of the weapons control department of the Kyiv National Police Headquarters, Nerukh, unfounded and confiscated them. It concerned an apartment in Kyiv with a total area of 94.8 sq. m and a 2016 Volkswagen Touareg. Nerukh's representative filed an appeal against this decision.
To open an appeal proceeding on the appeal of the defendants' representative against the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court of February 24, 2025 in the case on the claim of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office against (Yuriy and Zhanna Nerukhiv - ed.) on the recognition of assets as unfounded and their recovery into state revenue. To establish a period up to and including April 25, 2025, during which the participants in the case may file a response to the appeal
As a reminder, the SAPO prosecutor filed a lawsuit against Nerukh, requesting the confiscation of a 2016 Volkswagen Touareg and an apartment in Kyiv with an area of almost 95 square meters worth UAH 3.3 million. According to the prosecutor, the police officer's wife did not have legal income to purchase this property. The specified assets were seized.
We previously reported that the Ivano-Frankivsk City Court issued a verdict in the case of a urologist from Lysetsk Hospital who, for $4,200, promised to help a conscript obtain disability to defer mobilization.
