Appeal to review verdict against ex-Kherson RMA official image

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court will consider appeals against the verdict that found the former director of the Territorial Development Department of the Kherson Regional Administrative Organization Svitlana Vasina, the owner of Construction Technologies South Maryna Balan, and the head of this company Valentyn Balan guilty.

As is known, the anti-corruption court has issued a verdict in this case. Vasin was sentenced to 7 years and 2 months in prison. The owner of the company "Building Technologies South" Balan was sentenced to 7 years and 1 month in prison, and the company's manager Balan was sentenced to 7 years in prison. All property belonging to them by right of ownership was confiscated from the convicts, and they were also deprived of the right to hold certain positions for a period of 2 years.

Open appeal proceedings on appeals. Send the participants in the legal proceedings a copy of the resolution on the opening of appeal proceedings together with copies of the appeals and information about their rights and obligations. Set a deadline for the participants in the legal proceedings to file objections to the appeals by June 8, 2026
