Appeals court upholds suspicion against Shyman

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left unchanged the decision that did not cancel the notice of suspicion served on Leonid Shyman, the general director of the state-owned enterprise Pavlograd Chemical Plant, in new criminal proceedings.
As is known, the Anti-Corruption Court rejected the complaint of Shyman's defense attorney regarding the notification of suspicion. Therefore, the lawyer filed an appeal against this decision.
The decision of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated 06.03.2026 shall be left unchanged, and the appeal shall be dismissed. The decision shall enter into force from the moment of its promulgation and shall not be subject to appeal.
Leonid Shiman is a suspect in the EBK database.
Previously, the High Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of Leonid Shyman, the general director of the state-owned enterprise Pavlograd Chemical Plant, until April 11, but reduced his bail to UAH 24.96 million.
