HACC extends detention of Pavlohrad Chemical Plant director

The High Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of Leonid Shyman, the general director of the state-owned enterprise Pavlograd Chemical Plant, until April 11, but reduced his bail to UAH 24.96 million.
As is known, the anti-corruption court took Shyman into custody. At the same time, he was set an alternative of UAH 30.28 million. Later, a detective from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau requested to extend the arrest for another two months and leave the bail unchanged.
The NABU detective's request for an extension of the term of detention is partially granted. To extend the term of the preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect (Shyman - ed.) in the pre-trial investigation department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv for 60 days, i.e. until April 11, 2026. To reduce the amount of bail set for the suspect as an alternative preventive measure to 7,500 subsistence minimums for able-bodied persons, which is UAH 24,960,000
Leonid Shiman is a suspect in the EBK database.
As a reminder, NABU and SAPO handed over a new suspicion to the General Director of the PHZ Leonid Shyman, the head of the company "Rada 2007" Igor Khokhlov and the former commercial director of PHV Valery Kirillov in the embezzlement of UAH 102.45 million. According to the investigation, in 2022, the specified persons seized the specified funds in the performance of the contract for the supply of sets of covers and cuvettes, the cost of which was only UAH 63.17 million, and the PHZ transferred UAH 165.63 million to LLC "Rada 2007".
