Deputy Baranska was taken into custody with a bail of UAH 50 million

The Pechersky District Court of Kiev praised the decision to arrest the deputy of Khmelnytskyi Municipality for the sake of Svitlana Baranska for 60 due to the possibility of imposing a fine of up to 50 million hryvnia. They are suspected of having illegal wealth.

“Suspilna” reported this from the courtroom.

If the outpost will not be entered, Svitlana Baranska will be re-trained until April 6, 2024.

Towards the hour of the court hearing, the accused party was fussing about a way out at the sight of Trimannia under the risk of imposing a fine of 100 million hryvnias. However, the defense party stated that the investigators did not provide evidence that the cats found belonged to Baransky.

The lawyer also informed that Svetlana Baranska looks after her sick mother, her bedridden mother-in-law and her younger daughter.

Apparently, yesterday the SBI ousted the deputy of the Khmelnytskyi Municipality for illegally amassing over 1.5 million dollars. The undeclared money was discovered during searches in her offices and in the premises, as well as in bank accounts that were found to be in the name of the suspect.

Previously, we also reported that law enforcement officers had seized the Khmelnytsky MSEC for illegally acquired money . At the end of the search, they found 6 million dollars in goods, jewelry, and branded speech.
