Ex-Vice President of the European Parliament Charnetsky was detained for corruption
Ex-President of the European Parliament Ryszard Czarnecki was accused of corruption in Warsaw
The former Vice-President of the European Parliament of Poland, Ryszard Czarnecki, was accused of corruption at the Warsaw airport. At the same time they harassed him and his squad, Emilia.
Politico reports this.
Charnetskiy's involvement is connected to a corruption scandal at a private university. Previously, the prosecutor's office had already suspended the other party in the shakhraystvo, when they withdrew significant compensation for services during the hours of their work in the European Parliament, after withdrawing the charges.
Following the application of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland, another document related to the private university "Collegium Humanum" is being arrested.
The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau of Poland (CBA) reports that the University "Collegium Humanum" issued master's degrees in business administration, which gave the right to borrow land from government companies in exchange for material for special benefit.
At the cruel fate of the CBA, the founder and the great rector of this university, Pavel Charnetsky, was accused of 30 evils, smears of swindling, evil of service positions, and confusion to the point of statistic hundreds.
It should be noted that Pavel Charnetsky is the nephew of Ryszard Charnetsky, and there are few ties to the Law and Justice (PiS) party, which lost power after the last elections.
Ryszard Czarnecki was a member of the European Parliament for various parties, and represented PiS for the remaining three terms as a member of Poland from 2015 to 2023. The current government, under the government of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, is actively trying to attract PiS politicians to appear for corruption and other crimes, including Czarnecki.
As early as 2020, the European Anti-fraud Bureau suspected that Charnetsky had been awarded 100,000 euros for trips made between 2009 and 2018. Wanting Czarnecki, having turned the money over to the European Parliament, it was handed over to Polish prosecutors, as they were not as savvy as their European colleagues.
