Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Yavoriv District Prosecutor's Office, a medical worker from one of the district hospitals in the Lviv region was exposed and reported suspicious.

This was reported by the information policy department of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, the suspect established an illegal scheme to obtain an unlawful benefit for herself for influencing members of the expert team assessing the daily functioning of a person.

She assured that only with her assistance would they make a positive decision to establish a disability group. Therefore, under such circumstances, the man would receive a deferment from mobilization.

For such a service, the woman demanded $1,500 from the “client.” The medical worker was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, after receiving the entire amount of the specified “payment.”

The suspect is charged with obtaining an unlawful benefit for himself by influencing a decision-making process by a person authorized to perform state functions, combined with the extortion of such benefit (Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

At the request of the prosecutor, a preventive measure in the form of detention with the right to post bail was chosen for her. Investigative actions are ongoing, all persons involved are being identified.

Earlier, officers of the National Police of Ukraine uncovered a scheme in Lviv to sell medical certificates necessary for disability registration. A 61-year-old Lviv resident and a doctor from one of the local hospitals were suspected.

In addition, we reported that a district registry office official will be tried in Bukovina for registering a marriage without military registration documents for money .
