NABU and SAPO send new case against AMCU head Kyrylenko to court

Law enforcement officers have filed another case against the head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) Pavlo Kyrylenko and his wife. According to anti-corruption authorities, the official did not declare 20 real estate properties and a car for 2024. This was reported by the press services of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP).
They mention his name, but indicate his position, and the current head of the AMCU is Pavlo Kyrylenko.
According to law enforcement officials, in his electronic declaration for 2024, he did not indicate data on 20 real estate properties and a luxury car that were registered to his wife's relatives.
NABU and SAPO believe that Kyrylenko acquired these assets through illicit enrichment, which is being considered in another criminal proceeding. These include: 6 apartments in Kyiv and Uzhhorod; a residential building near Kyiv with an area of over 220 sq. m and 2 land plots; 2 garage boxes; 6 parking spaces; 3 non-residential premises with a total area of over 190 sq. m; a BMW X3 car.
Pavlo Kyrylenko is a suspect in the EBK database.
In July of this year, the head of the Antimonopoly Service of Ukraine appeared in court in a case of illegal enrichment and submitting false information in declarations for 2020–2023.
It also became known earlier that the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office is requesting the removal of the accused Pavlo Kyrylenko from the position of Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee so that he cannot influence the judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
