The National Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted a search of the premises of Rostyslav Matviyev, Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional Commercial Court, and Iryna Panova, Judge of the Western Appeal Commercial Court.

This is stated in the decisions of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court and confirmed by media sources in anti-corruption bodies.

NABU detectives searched Judge Panova's apartment and seized a Pixel 7A mobile phone and 29,100 in cash. The judge unlocked the phone and gave detectives access to inspect it. Contacts of the persons involved in the case were found in the WhatsApp messenger, but the chat with the last contact had a function to automatically delete messages 24 hours after sending. The banknote numbers do not match the illegal gain, but the SAPO prosecutor requested that the cash and phone be seized in order to secure physical evidence.

NABU also searched the office of the deputy head of the Lviv Regional Economic Court, Matviyev, and seized his Apple iPhone 13. Correspondence with the defendants was found on the phones, and the court seized the property.

In addition, detectives found an iPhone 13Pro Max and $45,300 in cash in the home of another person involved in the case. The SAPO prosecutor requested the seizure of all property. He noted that $20,000 matched the banknote numbers of part of the ill-gotten gains, and requested that the remaining amount be seized as security for possible special confiscation. The court seized the phone, $20,000 in cash, which is part of the ill-gotten gains, and another $10,000 in security for confiscation.

We remind you that NABU and SAPO reported the suspicion to the former and current heads of the Economic Court of Lviv Region .

We also wrote that the court arrested the former head of the Lviv Regional Economic Court, Vasyl Artimovich.
