NABU Presses New Charges Against MP Kormyshkina
NABU and SAPO have reported a new suspicion to MP Iryna Kormyshkina, namely, false declaration. She did not indicate in her 2023 declaration the residential building in which she lives and land plots near Odessa worth over UAH 17 million. For this, the politician was previously suspected of illicit enrichment.
This was reported by the press services of the authorities, without mentioning the name of the people's deputy.
According to media reports, this is about Kormyshkina.
On January 9, 2025, on the instructions of the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the SAPO prosecutor was notified of a new suspicion against the current People's Deputy of Ukraine - in the intentional inclusion of knowingly false information in the declaration by the subject of the declaration. Thus, the actions of the specified People's Deputy are currently qualified under Articles 366-2, 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, other persons involved in the specified crimes are being identified
Iryna Kormyshkina is a figurehead of the EBK base.
As a reminder, NABU and SAPO reported suspicions of People's Deputy Iryna Kormyshkina in illicit enrichment. According to the investigation, in 2021-2022 she acquired assets that exceed official income and savings for this period by more than UAH 20 million. For the funds received as unfounded assets, the People's Deputy later purchased a house near Odessa through a legal entity, in which she lives.
Later it became known that the Supreme Court released People's Deputy Kormyshkina on the bail of the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, and the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim.
