DTCP Employee Deleted Registry Data for Bribes
In Sumy region, police officers exposed an employee of the district TCP and SS who, in exchange for a bribe, removed information from the register of persons evading military service. The woman was reported to the police and taken into custody.
The police established that a specialist from one of the district Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers in Sumy Oblast was “helping” men of draft age.
For $3,000, she removed information from the register of persons evading military service and being wanted.
Law enforcement officers detained a woman on January 6 while accepting a bribe. Investigators charged her with suspicion under Part 5, Article 27, Part 3, Article 368 (obtaining unlawful benefit) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The court has now placed the DTCP employee under 24-hour house arrest. The sanction of the article provides for a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
Earlier it became known that a commander was detained in Odessa for taking bribes from subordinates.
