The High Anti-Corruption Court extended until July 28 the term of office of the prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office, Roman Shenenko, in the case of inciting a person under investigation to bribery.

As is known, the anti-corruption court took into custody the prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office Roman Shenenko with the alternative of 4 million UAH of bail. These funds were deposited and Shenenko was imposed a number of obligations: to arrive upon first demand; not to leave Kyiv and Kyiv region without permission; to report any change of his place of residence and work; to refrain from communicating with witnesses and suspects; to hand over his foreign passports for safekeeping.

The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office again requested to extend these obligations for another two months.

To extend for two months, i.e. until July 28, 2026 inclusive, but within the period of the pre-trial investigation, the term of the duties assigned to the suspect (Shenenko)

– the decision states.

The court also extended the term of the duties assigned to lawyer Serhiy Naumenko until July 27, and to lawyer Oleksandr Korobenko until July 28. They have the same list of obligations.

We also previously reported that the HACC reduced the bail amount set for lawyer Stanislav Klymenko from UAH 9.08 million to UAH 8 million. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses him of involvement in a scheme to issue court decisions granting permission for men liable for military service to travel abroad.
