HACC reduces bail for lawyer in judges' case image

The High Anti-Corruption Court has reduced the bail set for lawyer Stanislav Klymenko from UAH 9.08 million to UAH 8 million. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses him of involvement in a scheme to issue court decisions granting permission for men to travel abroad for military service.

As is known, the anti-corruption court arrested Klymenko with the alternative of 9.08 million UAH bail. This money was paid for the suspect and he was released from the pre-trial detention center. The lawyer himself asked to reduce his bail.

Partially satisfy the motion of the accused (Klymenko) to change the preventive measure in the criminal proceedings. Change the amount of bail for the accused, applied in the criminal proceedings, from UAH 9,084,000 to UAH 8,000,000

– the decision states.

We also previously wrote that the High Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of the former head of the State Tax Service, Yevhen Oleinnikov, until June 15, but reduced his bail to UAH 2 million .
