SAPO to Send Kasai Case to Court in December

After December 15, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office will send an indictment to the court against the former assistant to the People's Deputy Gennady Kasai, the director of the private scientific and production company "MS Avia-Grade" Dmytro Parkhisenko, and others for misappropriation of funds.

It was until this date that the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court limited the time frame for the defense to review the investigation materials.

The motion is partially granted. To establish for the defense, namely: suspects Kostyantyn But, Volodymyr Vysotsky, Dmytro Parkhisenko and Mykhailo Burtsev; defense attorneys, as well as other lawyers, including those who may be involved as defense attorneys of suspects, in the event that they provide the prosecution with documents stipulated in Part 1 of Article 50 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, a period of time to familiarize themselves with the materials of the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings until December 15, 2025 inclusive, after which the defense will be deemed to have exercised its right to access the materials of the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings
