SAP demands confiscation of tax official’s assets image

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requests the confiscation of the assets of the head of the Anti-Money Laundering Department of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Sumy region, Artem Sniezhko, who previously served as the head of this department.

This is evidenced by data from the Judicial Authority website and confirmed by materials from the court proceedings.

As indicated, the SAPO prosecutor filed a lawsuit against Sniezhko, his wife's mother, and another close person. As the prosecutor established, the tax officer's wife uses a 2022 Lexus RX 350, which is registered to a third party.

Also, a non-residential premises with a total area of ​​18.4 sq. m and three apartments with total areas of 59, 55.9 and 44 sq. m were registered to his wife's mother. The total value of the property is UAH 7.03 million. At the same time, an analysis of income established that none of the above-mentioned persons had sufficient income to purchase this property.

In addition, the SAPO prosecutor requested the seizure of the specified assets in order to secure the lawsuit.

The application for securing the claim is to be granted. To seize the assets that are the subject of the dispute, namely: a Lexus RX 350 car, 2022 model year; non-residential premises, total area 18.4 sq. m; a residential apartment, total area - 59 sq. m; a residential apartment, total area - 55.9 sq. m; a residential apartment, total area - 44 sq. m. The seizure is imposed without a ban on the use of the property

We also wrote earlier that the Appeals Chamber of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine confirmed the confiscation of a 2023 Skoda Kodiaq car and UAH 4.63 million in cash from the former head of the territorial service center of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Oleksandr Savchenko.

In addition, the High Anti-Corruption Court scheduled a hearing for April 8 to consider the lawsuit for the confiscation of a 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 car , used by former Chernihiv Regional Council deputy Tetyana Oleshko.
