SAP appeal on Dolzhenkov acquittal left without motion

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left without action the appeal of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office against the verdict acquitting former MP Oleksandr Dolzhenkov of charges of misappropriating 700 thousand hryvnias in compensation for renting housing in Kyiv.

As is known, the anti-corruption court found former People's Deputy Dolzhenkov innocent and acquitted him due to the absence of elements of a criminal offense in his actions. The SAPO prosecutor and the defendant's defense attorney filed appeals against this decision, which the court dismissed due to shortcomings. The court also gave the parties 15 days to eliminate these shortcomings.
