The court arrested the deputy prosecutor of Zaporozhye with bail of 8 million hryvnias

The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) praised the decision to take under arrest the intercessor of the prosecutor of Zaporizhzhya region Natalya Maksimenko with the possibility of imposing a fine of 8 million hryvnia. Maksimenko is suspected of obtaining illegal benefits amounting to 40 thousand dollars.

The decision was praised on June 25, as reported by “Word and Deed” on its pages, as well as confirmed by the press services of anti-corruption agencies.

The application of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) includes:

“On June 25, 2024, the follow-up judge of the HACC supported the position of the SAPO prosecutor and made a favorable approach to the defender of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Prosecutor’s Office, as they won 40 thousand. US dollars for undue gain. The court was satisfied with the work of the NABU detectives, approved by the SAPO prosecutor, and stopped until the suspected alternative approach in sight of Trimannia under Varta with the alternative of paying UAH 8 million."

Natalya Maksimenko was in hot water at the hour of wresting illegal benefits. According to the investigation, she was extorting 40 thousand dollars for the best food in order to change the track record of a criminal offender, subject to arrest and unique attraction to the status of other hundred Articles of the criminal code.
