We will remind you that at the end of November, the Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the detectives of the NABU, exposed a large-scale corruption scheme in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the investigation, in 2022-2023, officials of the Logistics Command of the Armed Forces concluded contracts with a controlled intermediary company at artificially inflated prices. Thus, the state budget suffered a loss of 27.3 million hryvnias.

Subsequently, the High Anti-Corruption Court imposed a preventive measure in the form of a bail amounting to UAH 2 million against Kostyantyn Buta, the head of the repair department of the Central Aviation and Air Defense Support Department of the Armaments Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
